At LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, our people make a difference and we are excited to expand the team with the newest addition of real estate professionals, Anne Palmquist. As a Realtor® and local to the community, Anne has a strong foundation and history in Ojai and within this office. We are excited to sit down with Anne to learn more about her and why she joined the LIV family.
We’re excited to have you on the team! Can you tell me a little about yourself?
I started in real estate as a licensed agent in 1999, working at the then, Coldwell Banker Property Shoppe in Ojai. After almost 10 years in this office, I continued working with the REMAX office for more than 12 years. Moving back to this office, as LIV Sotheby’s International Realty in Ojai is much like a home coming. I have an extensive background in construction, architecture, and development in this valley and beyond. As a member of The Ojai Valley Board of Real Estate, Ventura County Coastal Association and Santa Barbara’s Board of Real Estate, I serve the greater area in real estate.
I have raised all 5 of my children in the Ojai Valley and Ventura communities. We all enjoy a very active lifestyle deeply rooted in sports and adventure. From Kids club basketball & volleyball, to snowboarding, surfing and mountain biking. This area has so much to offer.
I am most excited to be working with my daughter-in-law Alexa Drury, and the rest of the incredible support staff here at LIV!
What do you do for fun, outside of work?
I am an avid snowboarder, swimmer, runner and hiker. I have a passion for classic California architecture and classic cars. I have three large breed dogs and more children then I can count on one hand, life is never boring!
What’s your favorite part about guiding your client through the real estate experience?
My favorite part of guiding clients through the process of buying or selling is, the satisfaction of helping with real expertise and professional knowledge. Giving my clients an experience they can truly appreciate and moreover genuinely improves their quality of life.
What’s your favorite home trend right now?
I feel sustainable living is key in Southern California. Finding ways to reduce our carbon footprint is vital to preserving our past and protecting future.
What excites you most about joining LIV Sotheby’s International Realty?
Working with my friends and family while taking great advantage of all the resources LIV Sotheby’s International Realty has to offer. The incredible marketing, and progressive products are top of the industry. I really believe in the branding and tools, and am excited to offer this to my clients.
What’s your goal in the next three months?
To close as many deals as possible, while helping my clients navigate a dynamic market to their best advantage!
