Around the world, homes are integrating increasingly sophisticated eco-technologies. In Europe, particularly in Germany and Scandinavia, Passive House (or Passivhaus) principles have become the gold standard. These ultra-efficient buildings use airtight construction, triple-glazed windows, and high-efficiency ventilation systems to slash energy use by up to 90% compared to conventional homes, according to the Passive House Institute.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Japan, smart homes featuring Zero Energy Home (ZEH) systems are gaining traction, combining solar power with advanced insulation<\/a>, <\/span>battery storage, and AI-powered efficiency management.
