At LIV Sotheby\u2019s International Realty<\/a>, we are passionate about building and supporting lasting relationships and being active in the communities we serve, and in true fashion, our own Gwen Mulligan<\/a>, spent this last 4th of July #PaintingTheTownBlue<\/a>!<\/strong><\/h4>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

LIV Sotheby’s International Realty agent, Gwen Mulligan<\/a>, along with her fianc\u00e9, Shane Harris, and friends rode their beautiful stallions and mares down Ojai Avenue in Ojai’s iconic 4th of July Parade, representing American Legend Mustang<\/a>, a program founded in breaking and adopting out displaced wild horses, and River Rock Ranch<\/a> offering horse boarding, training and sponsoring special events.<\/p>\n

\n“Riding our horses in the parade was a wonderful blessing and fun experience as we got to see so many happy and patriotic families and children with big smiles waving their American flags and cheering on the horses!” says Gwen.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Ojai Valley Independence Day Parade<\/a> has been a longstanding tradition since 1962, drawing thousands of locals and out-of-towners to the street to catch sight of intricately designed floats, classic car cavalcades, cowboys\u00a0 performing atop steeds, processions of youngsters promoting their elective leagues, and more. This year, the aforementioned organizations came in full force to help produce the event!<\/p>\n

American Legend Mustang, based in Ojai, California, has the end goal of showing what great companions wild mustangs can be through domestication and rehabilitation.<\/p>\n

\nIn the words of American Legend Mustang founder, Shane Harris, “In the best of all worlds we would leave theses horses running wild but due to limited natural resources and overpopulation wild horses continue to be rounded up. American Legend Mustang focuses our efforts on rescuing, educating the public, and helping our wild horses adjust to domesticated life.”\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

They also offer horse boarding and training at their 24 acre River Rock Ranch facility, as well as outdoor experiencing along the beautiful Ojai Valley Land Conservancy.<\/p>\n
