At LIV Sotheby\u2019s International Realty<\/a>, our people make the difference and we are excited to expand the team with the newest addition of real estate professional, David C. Smolen.<\/p>\n

A Realtor\u00ae since 1981, Dave specializes in Ventura County Beach areas and the City of Ventura residential properties, as well as residential income properties and commercial sales and leasing. In his younger years Dave was a fun-loving surfer and was even highlighted in surf magazine photography. Now in his mature years he enjoys spending his time taking photos of waves, nature, surfing, local live music, as well as the homes he list. Dave takes pride in working on his client\u2019s behalf in real estate with return and referral business being a strength over his long career.<\/p>\n

Now under the Sotheby’s International Realty brand, Dave is excited to be joining the team and offering a new level of exceptional service to his buyers and sellers in Ventura County and beyond<\/p>\n

Thank you for sitting down with us and we’re excited to have you on the team! Can you tell me a little about yourself how you like spending your time?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nI enjoy the simple things in life: photography, music, dancing, and the twice daily walks with my dog, Paco, at Marina Park and Ventura Point. I check the surf daily and occasionally paddle out and try to catch a wave or two. I like to go out to listen to live music when I know it will be something special or when the dancing will be great. Otherwise I relax and watch movies and my favorite TV shows at night.<\/em>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n<\/div><\/div>\r\n\t\t

What\u2019s something most people don’t know about you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nI\u2019ve been a diabetic since I was 10 years old. I had a kidney transplant in 1996 from my dear friend Ray who passed away in a 1996 skydiving accident. I was about to go on dialysis and was not on the transplant list yet. I owe my life to my longtime friends Greg and Lori, Ray\u2019s brother and sister-in-law, who arranged for me to get Ray\u2019s kidney and create a miracle out of a devastating tragedy. I\u2019m a survivor literally and figuratively! Please support organ donations!<\/em>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n<\/div><\/div>\r\n\t\t

\nYes! I have a great appreciation for life. People, life, nature, work, everything about life is ever-more precious to me. At I work I love to guide my clients through the real estate experience and see them happy either buying or selling.<\/em>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n<\/div><\/div>\r\n\t\t

\nI am most pleased with the support I\u2019m receiving. I\u2019ve got the help I need getting my database in order. Now I can provide better service instead of waiting for calls from past clients.
