How long have you been in the real estate industry for?
Growing up, my parents would buy land, build a home that we would live in for a few years and then sell it. They did this several times. They would allow myself and my siblings to be a part of the process; looking at blueprints, picking out paint and flooring, and hammering in nails, it was a great introduction to the real estate industry and I’ve been attracted to it ever since. I bought my first investment property in 2005 and became a Realtor® in 2015.
What is a trend that you are keeping your eye on right now in the industry?
Buyer’s doing their own renovations seem to be a big trend in the industry right now. In the past, we would see a lot of buyers purchasing flipped properties, I don’t see that happening as often. Buyers have so much access to online property data and I often find they are a bit turned off when they see how much the home was purchased for by an investor who flipped it. With the rise of HGTV remodeling shows and social media, buyers have become really savvy with how to “put lipstick on a pig” as I like to call it. They are okay buying something that needs a little fixing up to get the home updated exactly how they have dreamed it.
Personally, what drives you in this industry?
I enjoy making the experience of selling or buying a home seamless and also fun. Helping my clients achieve their real estate goals drives me to do my best. I enjoy being their resource, whether it be collaborating on renovation ideas or on opportunities to build wealth through buying and selling real estate.

What are you passionate about?
I work with a lot of people who relocate to the area. Providing the best customer care for my clients and helping them get plugged into the community is a passion of mine. Coming alongside my clients as a friend, with their best interest at heart, is important to me.
What community do you live in? What do you like about it?
Ventura is a place I’m proud to call home. I love that our beach community has a small town feel, but I still meet new people every day. We love living in Ventura and being surrounded by such a great community of friends. We spend a lot of time at the beach and like to travel whenever possible – our kids especially love the adventures.
